Monte Cargiago/713 m

The gravel road that links the Holy Trinity to Caronio

This tour visits the trails and the fire roads that twist between the airy chestnuts and the votive chapels of Mount Cargiago, a woody hill that overlooks Ghiffa. The starting point is the evocative baroque complex of the Holy Trinity, built in the XVII century and inserted in 1987 in a natural park that was created to protect the hill and the Sacred edifices.

The trails described here are generally smooth and well maintained. This tour can thus be completed by those bikers with just average technical skills but willing to experience the thrill of a fast descent on a hiking path.
