The new circuit
around the woods of Lodrino is very smooth and almost completely flat, but
it still tested out the skills of the 101 pairs that took part in it.
Despite big amount of narrow turns, the average speed was in fact above 25
kph for the fastest teams.
ExtremeMTB's team got 22° place
The first pair to pass the finishing line after 4 hours
were Dittili-Gyr, (Stockli team), who scored 25 laps at an average speed
of 26.4 kph. The second place was reached by Forioli-Martinelli (Succo
Marcio) with a gap of 6 minutes and 3 seconds. The third team was Vavassori-Martinelli
(Porta Verde) with a a gap of 6 minutes and 55 seconds. The first
individual racer was Reto Pezzoli, who did 22 laps all by himself, getting
49th place.
